For his Eagle Scout project, Caleb Coburn of Springboro, volunteered to assist the Warren County Genealogical Society with their efforts to create a digital archive of all extant tombstones in Warren County. Caleb worked in Miami Cemetery in Corwin, photographing over 1000 tombstones and making individual file cards for the tombstones which will be added to the Society card file. His work will be incorporated into a future 2nd edition to Warren County Cemetery Records, Volume 8.
Thanks to Calebís efforts (and that of others) we now have 1,553 photographs of tombstones at Miami Cemetery. This includes all extant tombstones in Sections A through D, Section Y and the Veteranís Memorial Section, representing roughly 20% of the total burials in the Miami Cemetery. The following burials were listed in Volume 8 but no stone was found for them at this time. If you have a photo of these tombstones, please consider sharing them with us.
