Butterworth-Foster Cemetery, Hamilton Township, Warren County, Ohio

Our thanks to Warren County Genealogical Society volunteers, Larry Collins and Bud Blum, who have photographed all extant tombstones at the Butterworth Cemetery in Hamilton Township. Their photos identifying 15 of the 32 known burials in this small graveyard on private property are now on line at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohwarren/Cemetery/butterworth/index.htm

Bud Blum also came up with a 7 Nov 1893 entry made by Clarkson Butterworth in his diary which describes the funeral of his uncle, Henry Thomas Butterworth and goes on to outline other family burials in the cemetery. A transcription of the diary entry has also been provided on the web page.

The results of their efforts will be included in a future update of the Warren County Genealogical Society publication, "Warren County Cemetery Records, Volume 5"

If you have any old photos of the cemetery, or know of additional burials in this cemetery, please consider sharing with us.
