Hi, Laurie,
I just got back from McArthur this afternoon, and found your e mail waiting. I was at our headquarters helping out with our yard sale, which was yesterday, the 6th. Did you happen to come by? We could have gone into our library and done some research. But I will go ahead and check out my other books here at home for you for any other Marcums.
I and my cousin and another friend went out during the evening after the sale and went to the Mace cemetery which none of us had ever been to before. I chalked some of the oldest stones there and took pictures of them. I could not do all the stones as some were laying face down and I could not begin to lift them, and others were too far weathered to read. The sun was going down too.
For any other researchers reading this the surnames I got were: Eakins, Truman, Gregory, Mace, Darst, McGlaughlin, Hawk.
