Hi, Laurie,

No, I don't work at the headquarters, per se. I am in Columbus and go down to the business meetings once a month and do our newsletter. My father, grandparents, great grandparents, and great, great grandparents were all from Vinton County.
I am checking with the person who went over to Mace Cemetery for the other query and waiting to hear back from him now concerning your post.
Our chapter doesn't have a good many of the cemeteries read due to a small group of local members and, except for one, they are not able to go out and do that kind of work.
I have our publications and can see what I have on the Marcum/Markham surname. Looking at one history book right now, I show an Amos Marcum was the catcher for the Arbaugh baseball team. That's all that's in that book.
Let me know if you need/want more.
