Need to find information on Stephen JACKSON and Hannah
Hawley and fami1y...
This is some information I do have about him and his family:
*My Great-Great-Great-Great-grandfather:Stephen Jackson was born 25 July 1755 in Rochester, Strafford, N.H. died 1820 in Madison County, Ohio. He fought in the Revolutionary War in Mass. N.H. and Vermont. I do believe at some point after the war they moved from Vermont to Canada,then around 1814 they moved to Union, Union, Ohio. Then they must have moved again Census 1820 puts him in Pike Township,Madison, Ohio. Madison Ohio is where Stephen Jackson died in 1820.
Stephen Jackson married Hannah Hawley born abt. 1762.
*Stephen Jackson Sr. & Hannah Hawley children are:
Stephen Jackson Jr. married a Miss Atsit they moved to Cincinnati, where they died. (no more information)
James W. Jackson Sr. born 1794 Bennington,Bennington Co.,Vermont died 26 June 1887 in North Amherst, Ohio (Amherst).
married abt. 1817 to Margaret Whelpley born 27 Sept. 1800 Manchester, Bennington Co.,Vermont died 3 June 1875 in North Amherst.
I was told James & Margaret Jackson had 9 children:

James Jackson Jr. born 1827 (This is my great-great-great grandfather ) his son John M. Jackson is my great-great granfather, John's son Clinton M. Jackson is my great grandfather, Clinton's son Clinton F. Jackson is my grandfather).

Sophrona Jackson born 1829
Henry Jackson born abt. 1833
Isaac Jackson born abt. 1837 or 1838 no information
Lois Jackson born abt. 1839
Louis Jackson born 1841 no information
Amos Jackson born 5 March 1796 in Bennington, Bennington Co.,Vermont died 15 Dec. 1880 in West Liberty, Logan Co.,Ohio
married in 1816 Darby Plains,Union,Ohio to Rachel Goodenough born 6 May 1796 in Vermont. died 13 Oct. 1864.
They had 6 children, 3 died (probably as infants) no record.
3 that lived they are Stephen, Henry, and Clarinda.
Hiram Jackson he married Abbey Cooley she died he went to the Mormons... sounds like the family disowned him? (no information).
Truman Jackson ** I do believe he married a Harriet Bacon on 7 Oct. 1830. she was born in 1811, she died in 1834 and she is buried in Cleveland Street Cem.,Amherst, Ohio. He married a Mormon lady and went to live with them... (no information).
Sophrona Jackson born 13 June 1807 in Qubec, Lower Canada Christened 9 Aug. 1807 United Church of Canada
died 15 Dec. 1867 in Milton, Iowa buried at Oak Point Cem.,Milton,Iowa.
