I am looking for information on my great grandfather Adam Basil(Bazel,Basel,Bassel,Bazzel etc). Adam was born in 1837 in Ohio and lived in Dover Township Union Country Ohio in the 1860's. According to the census of 1860 he was living with the Jeremiah Johnson family, Mary Johnson could possibly be his mother who had remarried. Looking for any information on this family.
