Does anyone know of any Drake families living in Union Co.,OH. in the mid 1800's? I'm trying to find siblings or other relatives of my 2xgreat-grandfather,Thomas Drake, who was born in MD. to unknown parents in 1810. He married Hannah Browning on 25 Jan.1837 in Harrison Co.,OH. Their 10 children were born in Monroe Co.,OH.Their names were: William,Benjamin,John,Thomas Carter(my line),George Washington,Mary,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther. My great-grandfather,Thomas Carter Drake, married Lovina Bowie on 19 Oct.1865 in Washington Co.,OH. Lovina was the granddaughter of William Bowie & Meriah"Maria" Windham who are buried in Dover Twp.,Mt.Herman Cemetery,Union Co.,OH. They died in Union Co. in 1853 & 1854 respectively. One of Lovina's uncles,Benson Card Bowie, is also buried in the same cemetery with his parents.

If any of these names are familiar to anyone please contact me.Also,if there are any other Drake's or Bowie's besides the aforementioned in Union Co. ,around the same time period, please let me know. Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,

Pam Drake
