Were there any Bowie families in Union Co.,OH. before 1850? My 3x great-grandparents moved to Union Co.,OH. for some reason after the 1850 census. They had lived in Olive Twp.,Morgan Co.,OH. for 30 years before up & moving to Union Co.,OH. Their names were: William Bowie & Meriah"Maria"Windham. They are buried in the Mt.Herman Cemetery,Dover Twp.,Union Co.,OH. After 1850 I know some of their children married in Union Co. I don't know William Bowie's siblings yet so possibly he had family in Union Co.;so that's why they moved there out of the blue. William was a carpenter as was his son James William Bowie(my line).

Thanks for any help!

Sincerely,

Pam Drake
