Hi Barbra Jean:
I tend to agree with you, Capt. Wm. F. M. WALLICK's obit simply states "The deceased came to this city [Peru] with his parents in early youth ..."
Thank you for your interest in helping us establish some ancestory line of our maternal grandmother. Maude and younger sister Pearle had a tough time, father died when they were 3 & 1, mother four years later, 1880 census has Maude at 11 being raised by the Bank family in Peru and Pearl at 9, a "servant" nearly over 600 miles way, in "Muddy Bayou", Falkner Co., AR (near Conway). Maude, some how, made her way to Cartage, MO be married in 1892, giving birth to two daughters before they moved to Colorado Springs for her health in 1900 where she died in 1940, after losing her hubby in 1922 & our mother in 1928.
Again thank you for your time in helping us,
