Dear James,

thank you for your prompt reply. I looked at the Ohio Census index for 1880 and found a listing for an L. Frank Romig. I haven't had a chance to look at the full census sheet as yet. Possibly on Saturday when I visit the Family History Center in West Los Angeles. Unfortunately I live 2 and 1/2 hours away from this library, so I cannot easily do research. I really appreciate your interest in Tuscarawas county.
