Hello, I am researching my Ggrandfather James H. Hoover. He lived in Youngstown, Ohio in 1889 and 1890 He was still there in 1892 as stated in his father in law's obituary. I know he left Youngstown and went to New Castle, Pa. where he appears in the 1900 census there. His wife was Katie Welsh of Oil City, Pa and their children included Margaret, Lucinda and Ethel. He appears to have been born April 1859 in Pennsylvania. I do not know his parents names as of this time. I would like to connect with others who are researching this family or who have them in their database. ALSO: could anybody do a look up for me of the 1889 city directory? the index I have found lists them as living at 554 Federal and the 1900 directory shows that they lived on 907 Orange and that he was a brakeman. If anybody would be able to check that for me I would appreciate it. Thanks.
