Robert O'Kelley born Northern Ireland ->Trumbull County, Ohio

I just received an e-mail from a family member who scanned a letter from Walter R. Kelley to his cousin Robert Eugene Kelley. In that letter it stated their grandfather was one Robert O'Kelley from Northern Ireland who went to Trumbull County, Ohio. There, his son John William Kelley was born 9 Oct 1841. After the Civil War they moved to Pierce County, Wisconsin and then on to Ida county, Iowa where I assume Robert O'Kelley died. The letter does state that Robert dropped the O and became Robert Kelley upon entering the USA.

I have updated my records on ancestry.com and haven't found anymore useful information...
