Lois Mansfields father was Jonathan Mansfield, s/o Samuel Mansfield and Elizabeth Benjamin. b 14 Oct 1753 d. 16 Apr 1833 in Southington, Trumbull, Ohio. He was a Revolutionary War pensioner in the service nearly 2 years serving in NJ, Fishkill NY, and RI, later in New Fane and Brookline, Vt. Married Martha Hayward who was living with one of her daughters in Townsend, Windam, Vt when he died and claimed his pension. He had another wife at the time, Chloe Clark Walden who was living with him in Ohio. Will mentions only Lois and Joel. Had four other children by Martha Hayward(Howard).
