Forgot to mention the cemetery questions you had:

Hillside Cemetery is 1/4th of a mile west of SR 46 on the norwest corner of West Main Street on the lake shore.Referred to by most folks as Cortland Hillside Cemetery.
The WEST BAZETTA Cemetery was formerly located on SR 305, now under Mosquito Lake.Headstones moved behind Bazetta School on the southwest corner of Johnson-Plank Road (County Road #200) and Hoagland-Blackstub Road (County Road #203). I was establish for the purpose of moving the graves from Old Bazetta Cemetery.

"My friend said":
My Cortland research friend said he understood whatever was in the original grave..even if just dirt, was moved to the new site. He spoke with some folks who witnessed the moving of some of the bodies and they said one of the caskets broke open and the corpse had red hair!

You can contact the Army Corps of Engineers by mail. I don't have the address but I can get it for you.
