Hi Patrick,

I have some news for you and here is what I found:

There is no military information in Warren, Ohio or all of Trumbull County, Ohio for Isaac Gomsey.
He died 1 Nov 1918.
He was a Pennsylvania soldier whose residence at the time of his death was Nanty Glo, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
His parents came to Warren, Ohio AFTER Isaac (Jr.)'s death.
His father was Isaac Gomsey Sr. (My information says name spelled with one "O".)
His father died in Warren in 1949; his mother Mary Gomsey died in Warren in 1942; his brother William and his brother Vernon both died in Warren. Neither brother ever married.
Cambria County, PA might have an honor roll showing Isaac Gomsey Jr.
My information is from obituaries for the county. I have a friend that transcribed them herself and has a CD of them. Hope you can find out more about him and his family in Cambria County, PA.
