Looking for any relatives of 2nd Lt. George C. Williams of Warren. Lt. Williams was a bombardier aboard a B-17 bomber based at Ridgewell, England (381st. Bomb Group) which deployed from the U.S. in May, 1943. On 4 July 1943, Lt. Williams was killed in action when his aircraft was shotdown near LeMans, France.

Son of the pilot of that aircrft is editing a history of the events and would like to include a biography of Lt. Williams and his photo in the finished manuscript. I will provide a copy of the history manuscript including war-time photos of Lt. Williams to any contributor of material for this project.
