Joseph Custer had a son, b. c1825 in Hartford Twp. The family moved to Berghill 1826. Joseph bought property in Brookfield Twp., 1831.
Part of Lot 72, R1, T4, [east part, 55 acres] in the township of Brookfield in the county of Trumbull and state of Ohio.
He purchased his property 16 Jul 1831, a 55 acre farm, Lot 72, E part 55 acres,NE from First Principal Meridian from John & Mary Pfouts of Hartford & Frederick & Margarette Wireman of Brookfield.
Joseph was resident of Burrough of Brookfield, Canfield, Connecticut Western Reserve, Trumbull Co., OH when he and Elizabeth purchased Lot 72, R17, T4, E part 55 acres, NE First Principal Meridian, from John and Mary Pfouts of Hartford, and Frederick & Margarette Wireman of Brookfield, Trumbull Co., OH. Joseph d. a young death before 08 Apr 1837.
Samuel Clark [17 January 1770-29 October 1860] & Mary Custard lived in Mercer Co., PA. [Revolutionary War soldier.]Their daughter, Mary, 10 March 1802, First white child b. in Jefferson Co., PA.
