I am interested in the Flint surname. Some of my family settled around Flint, MI. [Genessee Co.]
Martha Flint, widow of Capt. Cresap, m. 2.John French from French's Neck, VA.

The Clarks somehow tie with my family too, but I have not determined how. My gr aunt often mentioned the Clarks, and I know the Clarks came in c1795-1796. One of them had the farm next to Joseph Custer. [Lot 72] Brookfield Twp.

Any ideas? Looking for a needle in the haystack.
