I really am excited hearing from you.Hope you received the message I posted earlier today. My late husband & I were in Warren for several days in 1987 or 1988; wish I had known about you then!
We went to the Courthouse, Gen Soc, Library & other places hoping to find information-we obtained quite a bit, but not the information on James DAILEY, b: 1801 on the Western Reserve. One of the books at the Library was "Trumbull & Mahoning Counties, OH"R977.138 H629Vol 1 & 2, from which I obtained a lot of info & since then I ordered the book on inter-library loan, read it & made copies.
Were Isaac & Charles DAILEY brothers? How about John? One of these men must have been the father of James Dailey, my late husbands g-g-grandfather; they were in Warren at the right time & place!
From this book I mentioned, I put together much of the info you sent me, along with other research I have done.Peters Creek is in PA, isn't it?I also have a lot of info on Phillip Dailey, but I don't believe I knew he was the father.I even had his will in my hand, but didn't know at the time the relation, so didn't pursue this; at the Courthouse in Wayneburg, Greene Co., PA.
I asked about the person who is researching the DAILEY's; could you supply me with the e-mail or snail mail of this person?
I would like to hear more from you;I am more interested in James Dailey, but info on the Lane side is helpful in sorting all these people out.The other day on the internet, I found a Dailey who d: 10 or 30 Mar 1864 in Salem, Franklin, IN.Any relation? Please let me hear from you.
