Hello,

I am a direct descendant of William Young Hiter and Sarah Montague Daniel of Louisa Co.,VA. The had a son named Charles Stapleton Hiter who was born on 12/21/1850. Do you believe that this Charles Stapleton Hiter was his son? This is not my direct line. I am descended through William and Sarah's daughter Helen Lee Hiter and her husband John Wesley Melton. Would love to hear back from you. I don't have Charles's line forward so this would be a missing branch of the tree if you are able to confirm it for me.

Thanks,
Jason Lance
