Seeking information on descendants of ROXANNA CRANMER, b. 22 March 1812 Macedonia, Summit Co., Ohio, the daughter of JEREMIAH CRANMER and his wife, NANCY (HANNAH) COLE, early pioneers in that county. ROXANNA CRANMER married HENRY PILE [1804-1894) [also spelled PYLE, PILES, PHILE, etc., but the correct and standard German spelling of the surname is PFEIL] on 16 December 1830. He was the son of JOHANN HENRICH PFEIL and his wife, MARIA GERTRAUDT ALTHAUS, German immigrants from the parish of Elsoff, Sayn-Wittgenstein [now Kr. Siegen-Wittgenstein, Westfalen] who arrived at Philadelphia, PA aboard the ship "The Holland" in 1796, and eventually settled in Green Twp., Columbiana Co. (now Mahoning Co.], Ohio. Thank you.
