I searched all 7 volumes. Not as many Cross entries as I thought there would be. However, there were none by the names you specified. There was only one mentioned as being illegible but with the surname Cross. That was at West Lawn Cemetary in Canton Twp. I will say that it isn't impossible for them to have been buried in an unmarked grave or one where the stone no longer exists. Also, if they lived close to Summit Co. they may be there. If it's any consolation - I'm in the same rut with my Bamberger line. I'm sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.
If you know their church - perhaps a church record? Old newspapers? The Canton Library has a good genealogy department. They do lookups.
