Stark County Land Grants
Posted by: michael sandridge (ID *****1952) Date: March 11, 2003 at 18:02:53

I have located some information from a book. In it had listed from the Canton - Wooster Land Office the following men. I am seeking more information on them and how I can obtain copies or information on the land they have purchased. It did not list where it was located nor how many acres. Any help would be appreciated. Since these are Land Grants, what does that mean?

Daniel Hoy - June 20, 1808 - residence Stark Co.
Daniel Hoy - June 9, 1812 - residence Wayne Co.
Daniel Hoy - April 20, 1814 - Westmoreland Co.
Charles Hoy - June 11, 1812 - residence Stark Co.
William Hoy - April 20, 1814 - Westmoreland Co
