I really don't have much information on Samuel Foltz. His wife Catherine', maiden name was Wert or Wirth. One daughter, Mary, married Levi Smith. They had 8 children, one of whom was my grandmother, Rosella (Rozella). I believe that they lived in Richville, Stark County. I have a copy of their marriage license. They were married in Stark County on April 12, 1832. The officient was Benjamine Foust. (I think that is what his last name is. It is hard to read.) I have seen information that he was born in Pa. or Ohio, but I haven't been able to varify either. I have it that Catherine died April 4, 1897. I have just recently seen on the internet that he died in 1852, but Ihave no varification of that either.

In the list of children, I do not have a Samuel.

I don't know if this is helpful to you or not. Let me know.
