Fire in North Lawrence 1900-1907
Posted by: Jane Sowards Date: February 13, 2001 at 07:02:31
  of 1205

My grandparents, Alfred and Edith Farmer had a meat market in North Lawrence that burned after 1900 but before 1907. Alfred's family lived in the area after that but he and Edith moved to West Lebanon. I would like any info on the fire or on the Farmer family who remained in Stark County. Alfred's mother was a widow who married James Nelson. Alfred had a brother Joseph who had been killed in a mine accident in 1894, a sister Julia who married Austin Brown, sisters Carrie, Florence, Elizabeth and Violet and a sister Myrtle who died young. Also brothers Jessie and Oliver. Any information would be very welcome. Thanks
