Hello Ruth I just found some info that confuses me even more . I found info on a Johann George Bracher, born in Germany in 1676 and died in Pa in 1771. It says he died in Tyrone Twp York Co. Tyrone Twp is now in Adams co. I also had info that my George was born in Adams Co possibly the son of an immigrant. This makes it more interesting. Nathan and Catherine were married in Adams Co not far from where I live. Their kids were born and baptised there also. I don't think I am any way descended from Michael. I think our guys were here before he was. I'll keep digging and hopefully I'll find something before I get to old. George was a braucher but Bracher isn't too far from it. The name has changed many times. Thanks again. If i can help you in any way, I will. Bob
