Hi!
I have a subscription to Ancestry.com, so they are on line, accesible with a subscription. I only have a three-month, so I look at what I can, when I can.
There seems to be more than one "Bertha ZIEGLER" floating around.
At www.familysearchlabs.org it shows a death certificate for a Betty BUTTOLPH, whose mom's maiden name was Bertha ZIEGLER, father was H.M BUTTOLPH So, I went back to the 1920 census, and there is a Harrison M. BUTTOLPH age 35, with his wife, Bertha L., age 33. So, obviously not the daughter of Edward c. and Bertha...unless they named two daughters Bertha...or this Bertha BUTTOLPH is a sibling to Edward...maybe he named his kid after his sister??
By 1930, H.M.BUTTOLPH was a widower, still living in Medina, as were all the above mentioned people.
You can view the info at www.familysearchlabs.org for free but you need adobe acrobat.
-Sally
