It's been awhile since I posted...keep trying to break thru this brick wall!
Someone MUST share an interest in this line!
Arthur Conner & wife Rose Anna Scott Conner
had 8 chldrn: Margaret b.09-06-1834;
Owen b. 10-26-1837;
John b. 01-10-1839;
Catherine b. 1842;
Mary Ann b. 03-10-1844;
James H. b. 1848;
Maria J. b. 01-06-1853
Ellen b. 1856
"Family history" (unproven!) states Arthur b. Ireland 1802; m. Rosa Scott 1832; Arthur then came to U.S. (New York) 1832 & Rose Anna came in 1833. They are in 1840 census in Washington Twp, Shelby Co., OH. The other children (John thru Ellen) all were born in Shelby County. The family lived in the little village of Port Jefferson. The Conner men later lived primarily in Sidney. Rose Conner is buried in the lovely Glen Cemetery next to son Owen Conner.

Owen m. Charlotte MILLER 05-24-1868;
John m. Susan E. WHITMER 10-11-1861;
Catherine m. Jacob HINE 07-09-1865;
MaryAnn m.Gottlieb ALLINGER 12-15-1861;
James m. Anna AMANN 07-31-1871;
Maria m. T.G. Dickerson 05-30-1875;
Ellen m. W.R. Wheatley
All marriages in Shelby or Auglaize Co. OH.
All lived/died in one or other county & all had children.
Margaret Conner Hathaway was my great-great grandmother;hence, my interest in Conner's.
Would like to hear from persons w/ interest in this line. Am working very hard to get the Ireland connection! Arthur's parents were Owen Conner and Catherine BURNS. Have no other info at this time.... REGARDS!
