Hi... I think that the originals of most first and second papers for Shelby Co, Ohio are held at Wright State University near Dayton, Ohio? And for what it's worth there are Amann's in Sidney, Shelby Co, Ohio.... seems to me most of them were jewelers... my g-grandmother had a watch in a box, marked W.O. Amann.

Unlike most of the surrounding areas which were heavily German, Shelby Co, Ohio seems to be largely French and English......
