James L BLUE,

If you look at Shelby Co OH records, there were apparently 3 James L. BLUE'S in the mid 1800'S.
One is buried in Wesley Chapel Cemetery and the burial record shows born 30Jul1832 in GE and died 30Aug1863. Says he served in Co G, Ohio Cavalry in the Civil War.

Another married Mary D MARTIN 15Jul1858, book 4, page 88. The record says: Gent's father present-gave consent. Lady vouched for. This James was apparently under 21. I have a date of birth for this one of 30Jul 1839, in Miami Co OH (but I can't lay my hands on where I got this date). But
notice that the day and month are the same as the one above.) Also, this Mary MARTIN BLUE married my GGrandpappy, Aaron LEWIS, 16Dec1866, so something happened to James L before then. Instead of dying, maybe there
was a divorce. This James' father was John H BLUE, born abt 1811 in OH. John also had a daughter Mary BLUE born abt 1846 in OH. His wife is not known by me.

A third James L BLUE died 9Aug1875 at age 58, 6, 9 (thus born 30Jan1817) in Dinsmore Twp. Age isn't right for either of the above.. Don't know where this one is
buried.

Can anyone sort this out for me?

Jim Lewis, Seguin TX
