Sorry for the long delay. FamilySearchLabs has recently made records of the Catholic Diocese of Toledo, including St Boniface Parish in New Riegel Seneca County, available on-line here:

Looking at the 1839-1920 Deaths, I found on page 5 of 54 on 24 September 1856, Michael Hoph. He's the only listing for September of that year. I don't know of any other St Boniface in Seneca Co. Hope this helps.
