While doing genealogy on the George Armstrong family and allied familes, my Seneca Co. cousin came across the Garman family. I believe it was through the Neikirk family.
Anyway, there seems to be lots of Garman buried in Adams/Zion Lutheran Cemetery. She sent me a file on this family. The Web site of Kristina L. Krumm has the Seneca Co Cem. on line or email for more information.
I have several pcs of information on the family.
Benjamin Franklin Garman b. 26 Mar 1838, Republic, Seneca Co. OH
father Johannes (John) German b. abt 1799, Heidelberg Twp, Northampton Co. PA Mother Salome Kistler b. 20 Nov. 1813 Lynn Twp, Berks Co. PA
marriage Phoebe Williams married 1 Oct. 1860
Johannes d. 6 mar. 1841 S/o Adam Garmen. At least at this printing no information on Pheobe Williams Garmen.
Hope this helps
