According to family lore Adam Trish and Elizabeth Schaeffer met and married in Tiffin Ohio sometime around 1838-1845. I have been told church records (presumably Lutheran given their German origin) might help confirm this and indicate where in Germany they originated. Any help with this research would be appreciated. The pair apparently moved shortly after this date to Franklin County where they spent the rest of their life and had their children.
