My brick wall is William Shafer b.August 12, 1817 in MD or PA. He married Elizabeth Bowman (b.June 21, 1818 in MD or PA) on August 3, 1838 in Greencastle, PA. They later moved to Seneca County, Ohio. William was a Reverend at the Bethel Church. There were 11 children born to them with only 7 surviving. Children were, Mary Ellen, William Henry Harrison, John Bowman, Susanna, Calvin, William M, Augusta, Carton or Carlton, Elizabeth, Simon and Perry. They later moved to Crawford County, Illinois. After Elizabeth's death, William married Margaret Scantland. Do these people sound familiar to anyone? I have been searching for years and have found very little information on these people. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
Donna
