I still have not been able to learn who Jonathan's parents or siblings are. All I have are clues. A biography states that "in 1830 [he] came to Ohio". In 1838 he married Eva Glaze d/o Abraham in Scioto County, OH. An 1886 news article about Eva's brother, Socrates, states that Jonathan and Socrates were "about third cousins".

Wood County marriage records show the following:
>Arehart Glaze +Sally Deputy, Jan 6, 1814, by Reece Woolf
>Elizabeth Glaze +Michael Green, June 26, 1814, Reece Woolf
>George Glaze + Elizabeth Lee, Aug 8, 1816, Reece Woolf
>John Glaze, Jr. + Anna Woolf, Mar 13, 1813 or 1818, Reece Woolf.
Jonathan was born June 22, 1817.

1820 census records for Wood Co, VA show Erehart Glaze and George Glaze each with males under the age of 10.

1830 census records show no Glazes in Wood Co. In Pike Co, OH, Camp Creek Twp, we find Andrew, Earhart, John, and George Glaze, each with males age 10-15 in their households.

Suggestions? Clues? much appreciated. Pat
