In Reply to: Bonser Run, Duck Run. What is a Run by Phyllis Waddell of 1294

In southern Ohio they use they term 'run' for a hollow or small valley between hills. A run usually follows the course of a creek or stream, and people live along a road that follows the creek. For example, Duck Run is both the creek that goes up the valley and the name of the valley itself.
