1850 Scioto census question

I'm trying to descipher the handwriting on the 1850 census for Scioto Co., OH. The census taker used initials on some of the names. Can someone who is familiar with this census taker's handwriting take a look and let me know what you think?

page 183(stamped number) Town of Portsmouth
line 29-33, household 87
JAMMISON, __? M. 52 b. Ireland
wife Elizabeth 50 b. KY
dau E. 14 b. KY
son __? N. 11 b. KY
son Jasper N. 9 b. KY

Ancestry shows the father as "D.W." but the middle initial is an 'M'. The son __ N Ancestry has transcribed as D.W. as well.
The son Jasper Newton Jamison/Jameson is living in Pike Co., Illinois in 1860 and is the person I'm working on.

Any help or clues for those initials sure would be appreciated. Thanks,
Pam Smith
Dallas, OR
