My husband's ancestor was Henry Bennett, born 1845 in New York, died Oct 1900 in Sandusky County, Ohio. He was married to Ellen Brunthaver, then to Mary Ann Joseph. Ellen died fairly young, leaving him with children Clarence, George, and Fannie. There were no children born to him by Mary Ann Joseph I'm trying to find Henry's parents, siblings, etc.
Was Henry a son of Archibald Bennett and his wife Harriet? Henry must have had Michigan connections, because his first son (Clarence Bennett) was born in Michigan. I'm looking at Van Buren County, Michigan and Jackson, Michigan as possible birthplaces for Clarence. Can anyone help?
