The probate of Wm. Caldwell (s/oCrawford Caldwell), Paint Twp., Ross Co., OH who died Jan 1873 contained the following names, listed as heirs:
Principle heirs were:
Allen Caldwell (his brother),
Catherine Nixon (sister and w/o John H. Nixon),
Nancy Bruce (sister and wife of John Bruce),
Margaret Bennett(wife of Levi, most probably Wm.'s cousin,
and d/o James and Mary "Polly" (Wilson) Caldwell of
Buckskin Twp.;
Sarah Stoneback (w/o Samuel Stoneback) sister or cousin?

Secondary heirs:
Crawford Caldwell GLASS
Samuel GLASS
Henry GLASS
(NOTE: Mary CALDWELL mar. John Glass Ross Co., OH 29 Feb., 1844)
Sarah J. Harris
Catharine Harris
Mary Brown

Until we discovered this probate record we knew of Mary Bennett only as Crawford's neighbor and did not know that Mary Caldwell and Sarah Jane Caldwell were members of the family. I would appreciate any information about these individuals or their descendants and would be happy to share any and all information I have concerning the above named families.
Thank you.
