This is very interesting. My gggrandfather was Sylvester Brown. He was married in Scioto Co., but I have reason to believe he was from Ross Co. The story in my family is that the Browns were Black Dutch. They were rather small people and looked Indian. My ggrandfather, David Brown, moved to Pittsburg Co, OK/IT about 1890. Who are your Browns?
