Thanks for your reply. It has been hard to find folks working on this side of my family.
I knew the Ellington's had moved from VA to KY and then to Ohio, but have never tied the Ross/Pike Co. Ellington's into the correct family in KY, so if you have information that will do that for me, I'd really appreciate hearing from you again. I have Richard and Jamerson Ellington in Pike Co, in 1840, both born in VA. Jamerson married there in 1820. Some of the children are born in KY, so I knew they came thru there, but by 1840 he is in Pike Co, and then dies in 1845. Elizabeth (also from VA) lives until at least 1860 in Pike Co with several children.
