Tootles Crossings Stage Coach Stop
Posted by: mabel davis (ID *****1519) Date: October 06, 2013 at 12:53:27

Was told that there was stop between Circleville and Columbus and that the place was called Tootles Crossing. Went back a few years ago and it is still standing, one of the crossroads was Westfall but cant remember the other. My husbands grandma was a Tootle. Trying to find info on the structure and who built it. It has been turned into a home now and was told by the owner that the picture of the place was in a school book somewhere. Looking for anything on the stop or info on who had it built or where I might look up in Ross county to find the info.
