I dont have a lot of info on the family of Maxwell other than his parents names but he is buried with a William Long 1797-1842 (same row) I have a feeling that this is his brother. They are close in age. They were both living in the same area in the 1840 census and their families, after they died were living very close together...I know not proof but the best info I can find on them. All of this info is from the Ottawa County Ohio area, where they purchaced land circa 1825. A son of Maxwell, James Washington Long has a written history and it states that he was born in Pickaway County Ohio in 1824. I have seen that Maxwell's father was Rev. William Long and mother was a Margaretta--
