I am researching my Bowman family in Ross co, Ohio.

My oldest known ancestor is John Bowman birth unknown, about 1745. He died between 1834-1837.
He was married to a Sarah Dawson?

According to his Will, he was married to a Ruth at the time of his death and the children named in Will are:

*Thomas b: abt 1802 Ohio-d:1868 Wabash Co, Indiana m: Nancy Powell 26 July 1829 Hancock Co, Ohio.

Eli b: abt 1798-d:1866 Wabash Co, Indiana m: Margaret'Peggy' Powell 14 Apr 1825 Pike Co, Ohio.

William whereabouts unknown

Daniel b: abt 1791-d:25 Nov 1876 Boone Co,Indiana m: Nancy Loney 25 July 1816 Pike Co, Ohio.

Benjamin died: reportedly 1832 in Ross Co, Ohio m: Sarah Loney 13 Apr 1815 Ross Co, Ohio.

Edward whereabouts unknown

Betsey(I believe to be Margaret or Elizabeth)m: Allen Nixon 17 Dec 1812 Ross Co, Ohio. whereabouts unknown.

Polley(I believe to be Mary) whereabouts unknown.

Thomas and Eli settled and died in Wabash County, Indiana.

Benjamin's whereabouts unknown, descendants are in Nebraska and Pennington Co, South Dakota.

Daniel's descendants are in Boone and Clinton County, Indiana.

I am wanting marriage dates for Edward, William, Polley Bowman.

I want to know what happened to John, Sarah and Ruth.
