1870/William & Emily MORSON

In the 1870 census, listed is a William & Emily MORSON, who is actually MOSSON, with two children William and Cyrus. I can not find when William died, if there is Ross Co. between census time, and census time 1880 in Orange Co. IN where his wife and 3 children are. Emily and children are living with her father, William Snipes at this time, and she is listed as a widow. Can someone, Please check the death records there, and see if William is listed, and the name may be spelled one of many ways. It was Morson on the census, could be Moser, Mason, Mousen, Mawson, Moson, etc. I really need to find his death. It is my brother in laws gggrandfather, and I am at a wall here. If I could find his death record, maybe it will list parents?? THANKS for any help. A cemetery check would be nice too.

Sue
