Well, my problem Barnhart is:

William Barnhart b. Abt 1821 PA or OH (possible father - William) d. 1857 on the Ohio River (burial unknown)

Married: Mary Johnson 24 Feb 1842 Wash Co., OH
They had 9 children, William Barnhart b. 18 Jan 1845 d. 18 Mar 1915 is my Great Great Grandfather. (Note: None of the male Barnhart's had boys to carry on the Barnhart name!)

The name William, George and Harry/Henry seem to come up often in this family.

I have not been able to connect William Barnhart (b. Abt 1821) with a Barnhart Family. I'm sure he had brothers/sisters etc. but can't locate them. No idea on his parentage other than a note written that his father was also a William. But that could even be a middle name that he went by.

I absolutely can not find this family in the 1850 Census. They should be in Washington Co. (or even Morgan/Monroe) but I've hand searched the microfilm without any luck.
