CARROLL'S in Putnam County?

I am searching for info on my ggg grandfather but I have nothing except his last name. His son was CHARLES R. CARROLL b. 1876 in Colorado and on the 1900 & 1920 census' it says that his father was born in OHIO. It says on the 1900 census that his mother was born in MEXICO but later on a 1920 census, it says that she was born in the US.

I'm sending this to all of the counties in OHIO, including Putnam, in hopes that someone reading this will be able to help me in my search.

Charles R. Carroll m. Ada Underwood in La Veta, CO. in 1899 and they had 3 children, Oliver, Matthew and Muriel.

If this rings a bell to anyone or if you know how I might find out anything else, PLEASE let me know. I dont know how else to go about this.

Thank you
Dawn
