According to the pension records he enrolled at Cambridge City,Wayne,Indiana August 1, 1862.After he was discharged in 1865 I can find him in the censuses.But have yet to find him before that.Thanks for this info, hope this is the right James Edsall.They really messed up the spelling of the last name a lot too.Anything else you might find would be appreciated.
