Dear Linda, While searching for my 3rd-great grandfather i came across your message. I am also searching in Preble county, but for Silas Davis married to Johanna Vandermark. Both supposedly died in 1848-49 from cholera and said to be buried in Gettysburg, OH. While searching I found a site for early marriages. I have your couple married on Dec. 25, 1834 in Preble county. It is listed as being in book 001 page 296. They were married by Thomas Gray, a Justice of the Peace. I'm sorry that I don't have the county seat for you, but if you find it you can request a copy if you want. I hope that this helps. Roxane
