Do you have any more information to post to identify these Allens--names, dates, specific places?

I had Allens in Gratis Twp. of Preble Co. from the 1820s or so to the 1870s or 1880s. James Allen (d. 1888) was originally from Wayne Twp., Butler Co. (father Isaac Allen had ten children and was an early settler), but moved over the border into Preble at some point. He and wife Charlotte (Imes/Iams) had children: Isaac, Thomas, John, Lucinda and Lydia. Son Thomas Allen and wife Clara (Riner) moved to Marion Co. IL for a while in about the 1860s along with some relatives of his mother's of the name Imes. Then, Thomas and Clara moved to Williamson Co. Tenn.
